Solo developer Headware Games is pleased to announce today that a new free content update for its tech-noir survival horror title Hollowbody is now available to download via Steam and GOG. Furthermore, as part of Steam Scream Fest 2024, those still on their wishlist can purchase the game with a 10% discount until November 4.
Titled ‘Restoration,’ the new content update is now available for free to all players and should be automatically pushed to their systems via a patch. It adds new optional puzzles, locations, and lore to the game that were cut from the initial release.
The new content addresses player feedback, particularly relating to the game’s pacing and narrative beats, and will further contextualise Echo's place in the world; adding new information about the city's restoration efforts and subsequent downfall.
In addition to the new content, several quality-of-life fixes and tweaks have also been introduced to the game. A full list of changes can be found below.
