Great news, everyone! Bethesda have officially revealed and launched the long-awaited remaster of the fan favourite RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. We know the studio behind the remaster, the price and what is included!

Paris-based port studio Virtuos has remade Oblivion in collaboration with Bethesda. This new version is a ground-up rebuild in Unreal Engine 5. This means the games look and sound even better than before, with new features such as dynamic lighting advancements, new effects during combat, new textures, remodelling of characters, and new voices and sound design inclusions! Great, no more of the same voice actor for 100 different characters!

The Oblivion Remaster includes both story expansions The Shivering Isles and The Knights of the Nine, as well as various other items including the Fighter's Stronghold expansion, Mehrune's Razor, The Thieves Den, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Wizard's Tower, Orrery, and of course .... the Horse Pack Armour.

Another major change includes a refined levelling system inspired by Skyrim, there are new dialogue lines, with new unique voices, and praise be, modern controls. Players can now sprint, and have a smoother sense of control in 3rd person view as well as 1st person.

Best of all, Oblivion Remastered is available right now for purchase and to play on Game Pass. You can purchase from Steam and the Microsoft Store, with a nice costing model of £50, or £60 for a Deluxe Edition. The remaster is also on Game Pass (PC and Ultimate), and will be launching today as well on PlayStation 5.

The Deluxe Edition has some nice bonuses such as "new quests for unique Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon armour, weapons and horse armour sets", along with a digital artbook and soundtrack.

So, what are you waiting for criminal scum!? Go out there and help Sean Bean (yep, he's in the game) save Cyrodiil! And watch out for the egger fan .... he's an odd one.
