New Matchweek Mode Syncs with 2025/26 Season
Alongside its free-to-play launch, Rezzil is introducing Matchweek Mode, a new paid DLC. This downloadable content is designed to align with the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season. Matchweek allows players to engage with the real-world fixtures, enabling them to recreate, relive, or even rewrite key moments from each gameweek within the VR environment.
"We are the only game in the world that follows the narrative of the Premier League season," stated Andy Etches, Co-Founder and Sports Director at Rezzil. He added that the game's experience intensifies with the excitement of the real-world season.
With over 40 million active Meta Quest users and the VR gaming market projected for substantial growth, Premier League Player aims to redefine fan engagement. Adam Dickinson, Co-Founder and Game Director at Rezzil, emphasized the game's focus beyond highlights, highlighting the goal of allowing players to "feel what it’s like to be a Premier League player. Living the game. Week in, week out."
Premier League Player is available for download now on the Meta Quest Store.
