Check out exclusive gameplay of Cronos: The New Dawn from Xbox Gamescom Broadcast

Today, during the Xbox @ gamescom Broadcast, Bloober Team revealed over nine minutes of new gameplay footage for Cronos: The New Dawn. Guided by Cronos’ Game Director, Wojciech Piejko, players are taken through the abandoned factory – ground zero for the disease that wiped out humanity in the 1980s.

The abandoned factory unveils new elements of the world that feed into the all-consuming atmosphere of Cronos. The Traveller cautiously walks through tight spaces, biomasses that engulf the facility’s original fixtures, and past the deserted military tents of those who first tried – and failed – to eradicate the disease we know as the Change.

This closer look at combat with the mutated enemies should let players know one thing: victory will be hard-fought, with expert resource management and awareness of your surroundings being the keys to unlocking the deeper story behind Cronos.

Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled for release on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, PC (via Steam and Epic), and Switch 2.
