Viral horror game The Cabin Factory is out now for consoles

The Cabin Factory, the viral horror game where you inspect cabins and decide if they’re haunted or not (which requires looking at everything VERY closely) is now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 & PS5, Xbox Series X/S as well as Xbox One.



The Cabin Factory was previously released on PC via Steam in December 2024 (2,700 Very Positive Reviews). Created by indie dev power couple International Cat Studios and published by Future Friends Games (CloverPit, Slots & Daggers), The Cabin Factory generated excitement pre-announcement, going viral multiple times (TikTok & X) and garnering millions of views.

In partnership with Future Friends Games, the console versions are being published by Feardemic, known for their focus on horror games. The console versions include platform-specific achievements for PlayStation and Xbox. (Please note: The Supporter’s Pack DLC, available on Steam, is not part of the console release.)

Inspired by The Exit 8 and POOLS, The Cabin Factory is a walking spot-the-difference horror about sorting the artificially scary from the truly supernatural. It’s a simple job: check out all of the cabin props, and make the call whether they’re safe or not to be used on set.
