Prepare for a dose of masked mutation and bullet-hell madness: Plagun, the intense roguelike pixel shooter from developer Talkinguns, is set to launch on Steam on November 5, 2025. Already available on Android, the game will bring its grim, grotesque action to PC for $4.99 USD. To celebrate the launch, players can grab the game at a 20% discount for the first 13 days.

In Plagun, you step into the blood-soaked boots of a plague-mutated doctor battling through relentless waves of infected husks. The kingdom around you has been tragically undone by a failed cure for death, turning once-human foes into monstrous challenges.

The core gameplay centers on short, intense runs, blending auto-shooting chaos with fast-paced, wave-based combat. To survive, you must equip cursed masks, which fundamentally change your playstyle, and wield powerful biomechanical weapons known as "Plaguns."

Every run is a scramble for survival and power. The game encourages a gruesome cycle of destruction: every fallen corpse strengthens your arsenal, allowing you to mutate your build and unlock new passive powers and permanent upgrades between battles. With runs lasting only 15–20 minutes, the game is designed to be easy to jump into but brutal to master.

Plagun fuses the intensity of a bullet-hell game with the deep progression of a roguelike, delivering a darkly compelling experience. As you fight and die, you'll also uncover fragments of the fallen world through cryptic lore, revealing a universe where life, death, and disease have become indistinguishable.
