Limassol-based publisher ESDigital Games has officially announced a new global partnership with Reset Games Ltd to bring the retro-inspired military shooter, Machine Gun Fury, to a massive new audience. Building on its successful PC debut, the title is now locked and loaded for a multi-platform expansion, with upcoming launches scheduled for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Global Expansion and PC Enhancements
To celebrate the partnership, a substantial update has been deployed for the PC version on Steam. This patch significantly broadens the game's international reach by adding support for 11 new languages, including Japanese, Simplified Chinese, German, and Spanish. Beyond localization, the update introduces vital gameplay polish, featuring a redesigned XP bar, refined interface fonts, and various performance optimizations to ensure the "fury" remains fluid and stable.
Ilia Svanidze, Head of Marketing at ESDigital Games, expressed enthusiasm for the move: "Partnering with Reset Games Ltd allows us to deliver the fury to even more players around the world while enhancing the experience for our current PC community."
GDC 2026 and Hands-On Action
The momentum will continue through next month as Machine Gun Fury takes center stage at GDC 2026. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the high-octane action hands-on, alongside other highly anticipated ESDigital titles like Sky of Tides and AWAKEN – Astral Blade. Media and influencers attending the conference are invited to schedule interviews and gameplay sessions to see the title's modern-meets-8-bit aesthetic in person.
Pure Arcade Intensity
Machine Gun Fury serves as a visceral throwback to the golden age of arcade shooters. Rejecting modern cover systems for pure, reflex-driven carnage, the game tasks players with dismantling tyrannical armies across eight explosive regions. Whether playing as Suzi Uzi or Mini-Gun Floyd, players can expect screen-filling bosses, destructible environments, and a heavy SID-inspired soundtrack.
With console versions on the horizon and a refined PC experience available now, the message from the developers is clear: Press start, pull the trigger, and feel the fury.
