Secret Mode and Fuse Games have officially announced that Star Wars: Galactic Racer™, a high-stakes, runs-based racing adventure, will launch on October 6, 2026. Developed by a team led by veterans of the Burnout and Need for Speed franchises, the title invites budding pilots to shunt and slam their way through the lawless Outer Rim on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The game centers on the Galactic League, an unsanctioned racing circuit where skill and strategy take precedence over prophecies or the Force. Players take on the role of a mysterious pilot named Shade in a single-player campaign defined by settled grudges and forged alliances. Pilots can experiment with three distinct styles of repulsorcraft and master the iconic podracer class. Beyond the campaign, the game features competitive online multiplayer modes for up to 12 players.

Pre-orders are now open, with all early purchases including a free bonus livery for landspeeders, speeder bikes, and skim speeders, alongside a unique multiplayer Player Banner. Pricing for the Standard Edition starts at $59.99/£49.99.

The Deluxe Edition ($79.99/£64.99) includes three bonus vehicles—the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Ciza T speeder bike, and Rak S skim speeder—plus three exclusive Arcade events. It also features a Deluxe Livery Pack, a Player Banner Pack, and a Digital Art Book showcasing the game’s characters and locations.

For the most dedicated fans, a physical Collector’s Edition ($159.99/£139.99) is available. This premium package includes:

A physical model of the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder.

A banner celebrating Galactic League champion Kestar Bool.

Two pilot patches and a physical copy of the Digital Art Book.

A custom slipcover and steel case.

All digital content from the Deluxe Edition.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer arrives this October, bringing a new era of repulsorcraft competition to the Star Wars galaxy.
