Indie developer Demon Girl and publisher Tambù Digital have announced that Drag ’N Dungeon, their fast-paced tactical escape adventure, will officially launch for PC via Steam on 5 August 2026. Set in a vibrant voxel-style world, the title blends real-time action with strategic decision-making, challenging players to navigate deadly dungeons and fight their way to freedom. To celebrate the release date announcement, a refreshed playable demo featuring several quality-of-life updates is now available on Steam, offering players an early taste of the strategic combat before full launch.
In Drag ’N Dungeon, success relies on assembling and commanding a balanced team from a roster of up to 40 unique heroes. Each hero brings distinct abilities, strengths, and tactical advantages to the battlefield, allowing for extensive experimentation with team synergies. As parties descend deeper into the dungeon, they face escalating encounters, environmental hazards, and formidable enemies that require quick thinking and adaptable strategies.
Unlike traditional tactical games, combat takes place in fluid, grid-free arenas where positioning and timing are just as crucial as raw power. Players must make split-second decisions to maneuver their party effectively during chaotic real-time battles. The dynamic nature of each run ensures high replayability, encouraging players to refine their tactics and test new hero combinations with every attempt.
With the release date approaching, the development team has opened review code requests for press alongside the updated public demo. Players looking to prepare for the descent can download the demo and add Drag ’N Dungeon to their Steam wishlist ahead of its official debut on 5 August.
