Electronic Arts has announced global football star Kylian Mbappé as the official cover athlete for EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition. The announcement marks Mbappé’s return to the franchise cover for the first time in four years and represents his debut as an official EA SPORTS FC cover star. The Real Madrid forward will also front EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
The announcement comes following another dominant multi-year stretch for the French superstar. Since joining Real Madrid in 2024, Mbappé has finished as LALIGA EA SPORTS' top scorer in both of his seasons in Spain. He also captured the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League Golden Boot after delivering 15 goals throughout the tournament, alongside continued goalscoring milestones on the international stage.
