Indie developer Redknot Games has officially released the first public demo for Little Sheep Valley, its upcoming cozy ranch-building game set in a picturesque Mediterranean landscape. Announced as part of the Wholesome Games Celebration, the playable demo is available now on Steam, offering players an early taste of farm management and sheep care ahead of the title's planned Steam Early Access launch in Q4 2026.
Little Sheep Valley invites players to create their ideal farm while attending to the everyday needs of a growing flock of sheep. The gameplay centers on hands-on animal care, allowing players to pet, shear, and play with their sheep to ensure their happiness. Beyond basic husbandry, the game offers extensive farm customization, enabling players to decorate their ranch with items such as cozy fireplaces, cooling shaded areas, and decorative flower beds for the grazing pastures.
Little Sheep Valley also emphasizes progression and automation alongside its cozy aesthetic. As players expand their Mediterranean haven, they can construct and upgrade buildings to automate daily manual chores, allowing more time to appreciate the scenic environment. Little Sheep Valley is the debut commercial project from Redknot Games, a small three-person independent development team based in Berlin. Founded by Jorina Flormann, Youssef Jammoul, and Rouven Herzog following collaborative projects at HTW Berlin, the studio partnered with games agency Future Friends Games to bring the title to wider audiences.
