EA SPORTS has officially unveiled the 27 top-rated men’s and women’s players for the upcoming EA SPORTS FC 27, reigniting one of the most anticipated annual debates in football gaming.

In the men's category, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland lead the ratings with an overall rating (OVR) of 91. Manchester City midfielder Rodri, Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha, FC Bayern München’s Harry Kane and Michael Olise, alongside FC Barcelona duo Pedri and Lamine Yamal all follow closely with a 90 OVR. Olise saw a notable rise of +4 OVR following his impressive performances.

In the women's ratings, London City Lionesses midfielder Alexia Putellas retains top spot with an OVR of 91. She is followed by FC Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmatí and Manchester City forward Khadija Shaw, who both sit on a 90 OVR. Notable risers in the women's rankings include Manchester City midfielder Yui Hasegawa and Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who both saw their overall ratings increase by 3 to reach 88 OVR and 87 OVR respectively.

Built on authentic match performance data, EA SPORTS FC 27 features more than 21,000 players, 800 clubs, 140 stadiums, and 35 leagues from across global football.

Following the top 27 ratings reveal, EA SPORTS will roll out league-specific ratings across the week, covering the Barclays Women's Super League, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, and more, before releasing the full player database on August 21.

Additionally, EA SPORTS announced the first Football Ultimate Team campaign of the season, Destined for Glory. Running from August 21 to September 10, fans can vote via the ratings database for players expected to make the biggest impact on the pitch, with selected items receiving live upgrades throughout the season.

EA SPORTS FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25, 2026 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with early access beginning September 18 for Ultimate Edition pre-orders.
