EA SPORTS has revealed the latest addition of football legends joining EA SPORTS FC 27, headlined by Sergio Agüero, Raphaël Varane, and Pepe.
The upcoming title introduces the "Class of '27," honoring retired stars through defining moments from their careers.
Alongside Agüero, Varane, and Pepe, the lineup welcomes legendary Canadian forward Christine Sinclair as an ICON, marking the first time a Canadian player has received the designation in the franchise. Additionally, former Heroes Lúcio and Yaya Touré have been upgraded to full ICON status in recognition of their international and club achievements.
Former Real Madrid and Portugal defender Pepe reflected on the inclusion, stating that his career was built on intensity and passion, making his entry into the game's ICON legacy a proud milestone. Sinclair highlighted her inclusion following Canada's international achievements, hoping the digital representation inspires future generations of players.
The full roster for the Class of '27 ICONs includes Formiga, Hege Riise, Yuki Nagasato, Raphaël Varane, Sergio Agüero, Tobin Heath, Pepe, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Ellen White, and Christine Sinclair. These new additions join returning legends such as Zinedine Zidane, Ruud Gullit, Fernando Torres, Gianluca Zambrotta, Andrea Pirlo, and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Players who pre-order the EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition by August 31, 2026, will receive an untradeable 85+ OVR International ICON Player Pack for Football Ultimate Team, containing one of 18 select Class of '27 or returning ICONs.
The Class of '27 men’s ICON roster arrives on EA SPORTS FC Mobile today via four dedicated PvE in-game match challenges.
