Saber Interactive and developer stillalive studios have officially launched Old Town Roads, the third and final downloadable content expansion for Bus Bound. Available today across PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the new pack invites virtual drivers to leave the urban sprawl behind and master the open countryside.

The Old Town Roads expansion takes players off-grid into two brand-new countryside districts: Farelane and Lake Firefly. Drivers will trade busy city streets for scenic waterfronts, old piers, working mines, and lakeside resorts. However, swapping asphalt for nature presents unique driving challenges, requiring players to carefully navigate narrow gravel tracks, unpaved dirt roads, and treacherous uneven terrain.

To help tackle these rugged landscapes, the expansion introduces the Horizon "Chamois" minibus to the game's garage. Factory-equipped with a raised suspension and a compact form factor, the "Chamois" is purpose-built to give passengers a smooth ride across uneven countryside routes.

Alongside the paid DLC, a free game update is rolling out today for all Bus Bound players. This update introduces the highly anticipated "Open Map" mode, which unlocks after completing the "New Heights Celebration" tour. Upon starting a new game in this mode, players gain instant access to unlock a variety of buses, perks, customizations, and modifiers without facing progression roadblocks.

Bus Bound: Old Town Roads is available today as a standalone purchase for 6.99 USD/EUR, and is automatically available to download for owners of the game's Deluxe Edition or Bus Pass.
