Finnish developer Domesticated Ant Games and French publisher Dear Villagers have officially released a PC demo for Gravity Circuit 2. Announced during the Galaxies Autumn Showcase, the playable teaser is available now on Steam, giving action platformer fans an early look at the upcoming sequel ahead of its planned Spring 2027 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The demo offers approximately 30 minutes of gameplay spanning two complete stages and features two distinct playable characters: returning protagonist Kai and newcomer Cable. Players can switch between the pair before starting missions, allowing them to experiment with vastly different combat styles.

While Kai relies on his classic close-quarters martial arts combat, Cable introduces a long-range playstyle using projectiles, multi-jumps that inflict damage on airborne enemies, and a unique power that converts defeated foes into scrap ammunition.

Set years after the original game in a rebuilt Kernel City, Gravity Circuit 2 tasks players with defending against a fresh invasion from the Hunter Army. To tackle the new threat, the game introduces expanded character customization options. Players can customize their stats and move sets using Booster Chips and Burst Techniques, while defeating bosses awards Circuit Shards that unlock entire new abilities.

Alongside its high-speed 2D platforming, intense combat, and hidden secrets, the title features an all-new soundtrack composed by Dominic Ninmark, who created the acclaimed score for the original game.

Gravity Circuit 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, alongside console releases on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
